Nicolas Huras (Digital Innovation Committee Chairperson)
Head of Sales & Relationship Management APAC, UBS Asset Management
Nicolas, currently responsible for APAC business development activities of UBS Asset Management in Singapore, has commenced his carrier at UBS as Head of Alternative Fund Structures in Zurich later to assume a EMEA regional role. Prior to joining UBS, Nicolas worked as Head of Business Development at a niche fund administration company and a hedge fund manager where he joined from an offshore wealth management adviser. Nicolas started his career in financial industry in 2001 in Geneva, Switzerland from where he transferred to Zurich and later Singapore. Experienced governance, entrepreneurial leader in Disruptive Technologies, FinTech and Private Equity investor, serves as mentor and advisor to various companies and professional bodies in Europe and Asia. Holds MBA, MIR as well as various Executive diplomas from Harvard Business School, University of Cambridge and INSEAD.
Richard Green
Head of Client Technology Solutions, Asia, Aberdeen Standard Investments
Richard Green is Head of Client Technology Solutions – Asia, for Aberdeen Standard Investments (“ASI”): a part of the Standard Life Aberdeen Group (“SLA Group”). He has been based in APAC for the past six and a half years, originally moving to Singapore to build and lead the Product Management function for the region. He has also been a member of the SLA Group’s Innovation Panel/Committee since its inception in 2014. As part of this, he has assessed startups, lead a global internal Hackathon for the business, and also worked on SLA Group innovation strategy. Richard is responsible for the SLA Group’s technology offering for clients and customers in the Asian region: spanning platforms, wealth management, planning and advice, and investment management, to note several key aspects. He was previously based in Luxembourg and London. Richard started his career with Aberdeen Investment Management in London in 2010.

Before his career in Financial Services, Richard previously worked in the Legal sector for Eversheds Sutherland, and is a qualified solicitor of England and Wales. He graduated from the University of Exeter with a BA (Hons) in History and Politics.
Eddy Kwong
Director, Head of Digital Marketing, Asia-Pacific, Allianz Global Investors
Eddy Kwong is Director, and Head of Digital Marketing for Asia Pacific at Allianz Global Investors, leading both global and regional digital initiatives across the APAC region. Starting in 2019, his role has been expanded to include AI transformation for sales/ distribution as well as digital wealth management. He has extensive experience in digital marketing, eCommerce, customer experience and CRM in the financial industry. Prior to joining Allianz Global Investors, he has held positions at Visa and Fidelity International, and been stationed in San Francisco, Singapore and now Hong Kong.

With his interest in bringing digital solutions for wider use, he is currently serving as a member of the digital and innovation committee at the Investment Management Association of Singapore, driving the fintech agenda in the investment industry through initiatives such as the Digital Accelerator Programme in the APAC region. Eddy has also served as a mentor and judging panel member of the Global Fintech Hackcelerator Programme in the Singapore Fintech Festival.
Lan Kitchenham
Chief Operating Officer, Global Credit, Asia-Pacific, BlackRock
Ian Kitchenham, representing IMAS for this challenge, is the Chief Operating Officer for Global Credit in Asia-Pacific at BlackRock, based in Singapore. He is responsible for driving the development and execution of regional strategic priorities for the global credit platform and overseeing platform operations in Asia-Pacific on a day-to-day basis. Prior to his current role, he was Chief Operating Officer of BlackRock Alternative Investors (BAI) for Asia Pacific.

Ian joined BlackRock in 2006, including his service with Barclays Global Investors (BGI), which merged with BlackRock in 2009. Ian's previous roles at BlackRock in London and Hong Kong include strategic projects, alternatives distribution, two years as Cash Management COO for EMEA and two years in the institutional client business. Prior to joining BlackRock he worked for Barclays Bank from 2004 to 2006 focusing on credit markets and investments.

Ian earned a BSc degree, with honours, in Economic History from the London School of Economics, a Masters degree, with distinction, in International and Public Affairs from the University of Hong Kong, holds a Graduate Diploma in Law, and achieved the IMC certification.
Sanjeev Malik
Managing Director APAC Head of Technology and Operations, BlackRock
Mr. Malik’s service with the firm dates back to 2006, including his years with Barclays Global Investors (BGI) in San Francisco, which merged with BlackRock in 2009. Prior to the current role, he was the Country Head of BlackRock India. At BGI, Mr. Malik was head of Market Data Management Technology. Prior to joining BGI, Mr. Malik was the Regional Head of Credit Risk Implementation Services at Moody’s KMV Asia Pacific. In this role he was responsible for delivering Default Probability Solutions.

Mr. Malik is a member of BlackRock APAC Executive Committee, Global Operating Committee, Human Capital Committee as well as the Global Tech and Ops Executive Committee. Mr. Malik earned a BS degree in physics and mathematics and a post graduate in Electronic Engineering and Computer Technology from Bombay University, India.
Sharon Tan
Managing Director, COO of Global Coverage Group, Asia Pacific, DWS
Sharon joined DWS in 2014 and is COO for Global Coverage Group APAC. She is also COO for DWS South Asia with regional oversight responsibilities for several Client Infrastructure functions such as Know-Your-Client and development of strategic partners in the region.

Prior to this role, Sharon was responsible for Institutional Client Servicing, Client Onboarding and Product Platform and Client Reporting in APAC. Prior to that, she was Head of Intermediaries Sales coverage for Asia ex-Japan, responsible for leading the sales efforts and development of the funds distribution business covering Private Banks, Consumer banks, discretionary managers and other financial intermediaries.

With more than 15 years of industry experience, Sharon joined from Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) where she started out in the Institutional Client Servicing team, before moving to Sales covering Private Banks in Asia ex-Japan. Prior to GSAM, Sharon was in Ernst & Young Transaction Advisory Business where she worked on mergers and acquisition, corporate finance and audit.

Sharon holds a Masters of Science in Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economic and Political Science, UK.
Christina Fernandes
Christina joined DWS (Deutsche Bank’s investment management business) in 2013 as part of the asset and wealth management COO office. As CAO for APAC and part of the regional COO Office, her role requires her to manage efficiency, cost and governance of the operational platform while enabling business to convert opportunities for growth and expansion in the region. She has over 13 years of experience across financial services and previously led the set-up of ICICI’s advisory and fund management desk in New York.

Christina sits on the IMAS Executive Committee. She in an Economics graduate and holds an MBA from XLRI.
Wee Tian Sing, CFA, CAIA
Chief Risk Officer, Singapore and Head Office Risk, Eastspring Investments
Tian Sing joined Eastspring Investments, the Asian asset management business of Prudential plc, in July 2017. He is responsible for overseeing the Singapore teams of Compliance, Legal, Operational and Investment Risk functions as well as providing leadership to the Head Office Risk function.

Tian Sing is a Member of Investment Management Association of Singapore Risk and Performance Committee and Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) Technical Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Building) (First Class Honors) degree and a Master of Science (Financial Engineering) degree with National University of Singapore as well as an Executive Master of Business Administration (High Honors) degree with University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
John Fahey
Programme Manager, Fidelity International
John Fahey is a Programme Manager with Fidelity International, with experience spanning covering many industries & roles. Having joined Fidelity Investments in Ireland during 2012, he was previously focused on rolling out agile practices across teams (holding multiple agile certifications), as well as leading delivery teams. Following his move to Fidelity International, he lead the accelerator engagement in Hong Kong, while continuing to lead delivery & programme management of business initiatives.

Holding a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems from the University of Limerick, he has extensive work experience across many countries & regions, having been based in Ireland, Mainland China, Hong Kong and Singapore throughout his career.
Hiromi Yorikane
FinTech Analyst, Fidelity International
Hiromi is a FinTech Analyst in Fidelity International based in Hong Kong. She is supporting the development of Fidelity's global Fintech Innovation programme and executing the firm’s innovation strategy in Asia. She is responsible for day-to-day management of various programme activities including stakeholder engagement and cross-divisional collaboration.

She was previously based in Tokyo, managing website projects and CRM adoption.
Rajeev De Mello
Development Committee Chairman, Investment Management Association of Singapore (IMAS)
Rajeev De Mello is the Chairman of the IMAS Development Committee. He is the Chief Investment Officer at Bank of Singapore, where he oversees the research and investment strategy teams. Previously, as the head of Asian Fixed Income at Schroders Investment Management in Singapore, he led a team which invested in Asian credit, local bonds and currencies across Asia and the Middle East. He has been investing in Asia since 2005. Before that, he managed European fixed income for Pictet Asset Management. During the 1990s, Rajeev worked as head trading for UBS in various locations including Hong Kong. Earlier on he was a management consultant for McKinsey. He started his career in gold and currency options shortly before the 1987 crash.
Kenneth Tang
Senior Portfolio Manager, Nikko Asset Management
Kenneth Tang is a senior portfolio manager at Nikko Investment Management based in Singapore. He is responsible for managing Singapore, ASEAN and Balanced portfolios. Kenneth brings to Nikko AM more than 20 years of investment experience in equity long only and equity long short capacities as well as extensive commodity research experience. Prior to joining Nikko AM, Kenneth was the lead portfolio manager for PineBridge Investments in Singapore Equity and Balanced portfolios. Before PineBridge Investments, Kenneth was managing director and portfolio manager at Black River Investment Management focusing on Asian industrial and agricultural commodities.

Between 1996 and 2007, Kenneth served as a research analyst and portfolio manager for Credit Agricole Investment Management (CAAM, now Amundi Investment Management). During his time in CAAM, Kenneth was lead manager for CAAM’s country funds in Singapore, Australia, Malaysia and Indonesia as well as a senior portfolio manager for CAAM’s discretionary equity mandates. Kenneth helped CAAM attain the best performing fund (Asian Investor) in the Singapore Equity category during the period from 2004 to 2006. Kenneth graduated from the National University of Singapore, with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholder.
Charlotte Wood
Head of Innovation and Fintech Alliances, Schroders
Charlotte is the Head of Innovation and Fintech Alliances at Schroders, where she is globally responsible for engagement with startups in asset and wealth management, as well as the company’s internal innovation activities. As the first Head of Innovation at Schroders, Charlotte has been instrumental in developing the company’s strategic approach to innovation and setting the agenda for fintech collaborations, including the launch of Schroders’ Cobalt programme last year to improve partnerships with early-stage companies.

Prior to joining Schroders, she worked in financial services consulting and spent a year based in Silicon Valley, connecting her corporate clients with relevant VCs and startups.She was recently selected as a ‘Rising Star of Asset Management’ by Financial News, and featured in the ‘Standout 35’ in Innovate Finance’s Women in Fintech awards.

Charlotte holds a first class degree from the University of Cambridge, specialising in Neuroscience followed by a year of Management Studies.
Peter Shen
Head of Technology Strategy and Innovation, Singapore Exchange
Peter is responsible for driving innovation programmes to advance the enterprise value of technology. A pioneer of SGX’s successful Co-location business, Peter led several industry-first initiatives, including one of the first cloud-based applications in financial services, and also architected the current derivatives pre-trade risk management system and market connectivity models. A member of the ISO Technical Committee TC307 on Blockchain, Peter is one of the key architects of the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s Project Ubin, a central bank vanguard initiative to explore the use of DLT in Capital Markets. He also leads SGX’s collaboration with Stanford University’s Platform Lab.

Prior to SGX, Peter was an IBM campus hire where he joined as a software engineer, working on assignments in Singapore, the United States and Europe. Peter holds a B.Eng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, and is active in the startup community as a sponsor and an advisor.
Wijaya Elham
Chief Operating Officer, UOB Asset Management
As Chief Operating Officer, Wijaya is responsible for the overall functions of Middle Office and Governance, Digitalization and Data Management as well as the Operations of UOBAM. He joined UOBAM in August 2015 and has more than 20 years of extensive operational experience, principally in investment custody operations, fund accounting and new business consulting. Prior to joining UOBAM, he was Head of Operations with Northern Trust Company.

Wijaya was educated at Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
